This post does not convict anyone. Courts do that.
What this post does is lay out, clearly and with numbered sources, what the official documents say, what law enforcement did with those documents, and what the United States government chose to hide — and then chose to release only after journalists and Congress forced their hand.
The facts below are sourced to primary documents, federal court filings, FBI records, and mainstream news outlets across multiple continents. Every claim is numbered. Every number has a link.
You can check every single one.
That is the point.
PART ONE: THE SURFACE LAYER — What Actually Happened
The Girl
She was 13 years old. Or 14. The documents say “13 to 15.” She never agreed to what happened to her, and she said so — repeatedly — to federal investigators.
Her name is not publicly known. She has used the pseudonyms “Katie Johnson” and “Jane Doe.” Those are not her names. They are the names the legal system gave her to protect her.
According to FBI interview summaries (known as 302 reports), she told agents the following:
Around 1983, when she was approximately 13 years old, Jeffrey Epstein introduced her to Donald Trump, “who subsequently forced her head down to his exposed penis which she subsequently bit.”
She said Trump pushed her head down toward his exposed penis; she bit him, leading Trump to punch her in the head and kick her out of the room.
She said she was between 13 and 15 years old during her encounters with both Epstein and Trump.
She also said she had two additional interactions with Trump, but before she expanded on them further, she asked if she could move on to another subject.
This is not a rumor. This is not a social media post. These are FBI 302 interview summaries — the formal written record of what federal agents heard directly from a witness.
The Interviews
A woman who accused Donald Trump of sexually abusing her when she was 13 was interviewed by FBI agents four separate times in 2019. The interviews were conducted during the federal investigation into Jeffrey Epstein and his associate Ghislaine Maxwell.
A Department of Justice source told the Miami Herald that the repeated interviews reflected the investigators’ view of her credibility. “They would not have interviewed her four times if they thought she was lying,” the source said.
Four times. Because they took her seriously.
The Lawsuit (2016)
A lawsuit was filed against Trump in the lead-up to the 2016 presidential election including claims that Trump raped a woman when she was 13 years old in 1994. The anonymous plaintiff — identified only as “Katie Johnson” in an initial legal filing dismissed in California, and “Jane Doe” in two subsequent legal filings in New York — said she was raped by Trump during a party hosted by Jeffrey Epstein at his New York City apartment.
A witness, also given a pseudonym — “Tiffany Doe” — said she recruited “Jane Doe” and others. Doe, using the name “Johnson,” gave an interview to the Daily Mail in which she said she did not know who Trump was at the time of the alleged attack but identified him later when she saw him on television.
The lawsuit was dropped in November 2016 — four days before the presidential election.
It is not known why she withdrew the lawsuit.
Her attorney at the time, Lisa Bloom, said the accuser had received threats and was too frightened to appear publicly.
PART TWO: THE BLIND SPOT — What Was Hidden and Why
The DOJ Withheld the Files
Here is where the story stops being about one girl and becomes a story about a government that serves itself.
The Justice Department withheld notes and memos reflecting FBI interviews from its release of the Epstein files, including interviews with a woman who accused President Donald Trump of sexually abusing her when she was a minor.
NPR’s investigation found 53 pages that appeared to be missing from the public database. Only after NPR and MS NOW published their findings did the DOJ release an additional 16 pages.
Even after that release, there are still 37 pages of records missing from the public database, including notes from the interviews, a law enforcement report, and license records.
37 pages. Still missing. As of this writing.
The DOJ’s official explanation? The documents had not been made public because they were mistakenly marked “duplicative” during the review process.
They were accidentally hidden. Four separate FBI interviews. Fifty-three pages. All accidentally.
Congress Noticed
The top Democrat on the House Oversight Committee announced an investigation would be opened into the DOJ’s withholding of Epstein files related to the alleged sexual assault on a 13-year-old girl. “For the last few weeks, Oversight Democrats have been investigating the FBI’s handling of allegations from 2019 of sexual assault on a minor made against President Donald Trump by a survivor,” Oversight Committee Ranking Member Robert Garcia (D-Calif.) said in a statement.
Garcia added: “Oversight Democrats can confirm that the DOJ appears to have illegally withheld FBI interviews with this survivor who accused President Trump of heinous crimes.”
Illegally withheld. That is a member of the US Congress, using that word, in an official statement.
The Files That Were Deleted After Release
Shortly after the files were released and the allegations against Trump were highlighted on social media, the DOJ allegedly scrubbed them from its website. A similar incident happened in December 2025, after it was confirmed that a photograph featuring Trump was removed from the cache of documents shortly after its release.
A photograph of Trump was removed from the Epstein files. Then complaints mentioning Trump were removed. Then they came back — after public pressure.
CNN’s Jake Tapper was among those who noted the DOJ pulling the files.
A Second Woman
The FBI also interviewed a woman known as “Jane,” who testified under oath at the trial of Ghislaine Maxwell. “Jane” claimed she was introduced to Trump by Epstein at Mar-a-Lago when she was 14 years old. Handwritten notes from interviews with “Jane” — as well as witness statements from at least one person close to her — about her interaction with Trump are either not included in the DOJ’s release or have since been taken down.
Multiple FBI interviews with other people refer to the second woman’s meeting with Trump while she was a minor and being abused by Epstein. One interview with a fleeting mention of Trump was removed from the public database and subsequently restored. Another interview with the woman’s mother is still offline. In that conversation, the mother recalled hearing that “a prince and DONALD TRUMP visited EPSTEIN’s house,” which made her “think that if they are there then how could EPSTEIN be a criminal.”
PART THREE: THE REFRAME — Connecting the Pattern
This Is Not About One Girl. This Is About the Architecture of Impunity.
Let’s be precise about what we are looking at:
A 13-year-old girl told the FBI she was sexually assaulted by the sitting President of the United States.
The FBI interviewed her four times — because agents believed her credible enough to return to three additional times.
The files containing those interviews were withheld from the legally mandated public release.
When journalists discovered the omission, only some of the files were released.
Thirty-seven pages remain missing.
Files were also removed from the DOJ website after drawing public attention.
A second accuser — who testified at trial — also had her files partially withheld.
The sitting Attorney General has not been asked to testify about this under oath. Yet.
Each step in that list has a source. None of it is speculation. All of it is documented.
The “Totally Exonerated” Claim
Trump stated publicly that the Epstein files had “totally exonerated” him.
The files that “totally exonerated” him included FBI 302 reports describing a 13-year-old girl’s account of sexual assault — reports his own DOJ had withheld from the mandated release.
A new report torpedoed one of Trump’s “central defenses” about his Epstein ties. Investigative political reporter Roger Sollenberger reported that Trump was credibly accused of abusing at least two young girls, citing court records and an internal FBI slideshow released in the latest tranche of Epstein files.
You cannot be “totally exonerated” by files that weren’t fully released.
What the DOJ Said the Files Contain
The woman reportedly told investigators that Epstein introduced her to Trump when she was between 13 and 15 years old. She said Trump pushed her head down toward his exposed penis, which she bit, leading Trump to punch her in the head and kick her out of the room.
In the summer of 2025, the FBI internally circulated a list of people accusing Trump of sexual abuse and dismissed most of the claims as not credible or unverifiable. However, one woman’s claims were investigated further.
They dismissed most. They kept coming back to her. Four times.
