The Same People Who Brought You Iraq Are Back (And They Want Iran This Time)
I don't know... But are we about to be Scammed by War Profiteers Again?
Remember Iraq? You know, that little adventure where we were told Saddam had nukes, mushroom clouds were imminent, and we absolutely had to invade right now to save democracy? The one that killed over a million people and cost trillions while Halliburton got $18 billion in "reparations"?
Well, good news! The gang's all back together for their greatest hits tour: Iran Edition.
Meet Your Old Friends
The same neocon crew that sold you the Iraq disaster is now pushing for war with Iran. And I mean literally the same people:
Jeb Bush is running "United Against Nuclear Iran" (because having one Bush involved in Middle East disasters wasn't enough)
John Bolton is back, mustache and all, saying we should bomb Iran "as long as 20 years ago"
Mark Wallace, who repped the US at the UN during the Iraq mess, is on the team
It's like a really depressing reunion tour where instead of playing "Don't Stop Believin'," they play "Don't Stop Bombing."
The Greatest Hits Keep Coming
Netanyahu has been saying Iran is "6 months away" from a nuclear bomb for... checks notes... three decades. That's some impressive consistency. Either Iran has the world's worst nuclear program, or Bibi's been crying wolf so long he's basically the boy who cried yellowcake uranium.
The playbook is identical:
Iraq: "We can't wait for the smoking gun to be a mushroom cloud"
Iran: "We will not let the world's most dangerous regime get the world's most dangerous weapons"
They're not even trying to write new material. This is basically Iraq War 2: Electric Boogaloo.
Follow the Money (It's Always About the Money)
Here's where it gets really fun. While you're being told Iran is an "existential threat," guess who's actually funding what:
Jared Kushner (yes, that Jared Kushner) got $2 billion from Saudi Arabia for his investment fund. That money bought stakes in Israeli weapons companies. So Saudi cash is literally funding the bombs dropped on Gaza while Saudi officials publicly condemn Israel.
The UAE bought 30% of an Israeli surveillance drone company and partnered with Israeli weapons manufacturers. They're business partners with the people they're supposedly opposing.
Turkey's president talks tough about Palestine while Turkish companies own chunks of Israeli power plants that keep the Israeli military running.
It's like watching a wrestling match where you find out the "enemies" are business partners backstage.
The Arab World's Greatest Performance
The most absurd part? Arab governments are actively helping Israel while their people protest in the streets for Palestine.
Qatar hosts the US airbase that refuels Israeli jets
Egypt charges Palestinians $5,000 to escape Gaza (because apparently fleeing genocide should be a luxury service)
Jordan shoots down Iranian drones heading for Israel
Kuwait denies weapons transfers to Israel (while flight trackers show US cargo planes doing exactly that)
Greta Thunberg took a boat to break the naval blockade and bring flour to Gaza. The entire Arab world with their "vast armies"? They sent thoughts and prayers.
The Tech Angle Nobody Talks About
Israeli spyware companies are making bank selling surveillance tools to the same Muslim countries that claim to support Palestine:
Saudi Arabia uses Israeli phone-hacking tech (probably to spy on people complaining about Saudi-Israeli business deals)
Pakistan has been using Israeli forensic tools since 2012
Indonesia bought Israeli spyware to track dissidents
So these governments are literally using Israeli technology to spy on their own people while publicly opposing Israel. The irony is so thick you could cut it with a drone strike.
The Big Picture
This isn't about religion or ideology. It's about power and money. The same defense contractors, oil companies, and financial firms that profited from Iraq are positioning themselves for Iran.
Halliburton got $18 billion in Iraq "reparations." Israeli farmers got $8 million. Pepsi got $3.8 million. You know who didn't get reparations? The million+ dead Iraqis.
The pattern is simple:
Create crisis
Manufacture consent for war
Bomb country into stone age
Profit from reconstruction
Repeat
Trump's "America First" Math
Trump says "America First" while his biggest donor gave him $100 million. That donor? Miriam Adelson, whose late husband publicly supported nuking Iran.
Trump's Middle East envoy literally said Trump "could be Prime Minister of Israel" while being President of the US. Because apparently dual citizenship applies to countries, not just people.
This is what "America First" looks like when you squint really hard and turn the receipt upside down.
The Bottom Line
The same people who promised Iraq would be a "cakewalk" and bring "enormous positive reverberations" are now selling you Iran war. The same people who said Saddam had nukes are now saying Iran has nukes.
The same people who made billions off Iraq's destruction are positioning themselves to make billions off Iran's destruction.
And they're doing it while Arab governments secretly fund Israeli weapons, Turkish companies power Israeli bases, and Gulf states spy on their own people with Israeli software.
It's the most expensive puppet show in history, except the puppets are countries and the puppet masters are getting rich while everyone else dies.
The punchline? They're not even hiding it anymore. The connections, the money flows, the business partnerships - it's all public record. They're just betting you won't connect the dots.
Spoiler alert: The dots form a dollar sign.
Want to see who profits from war? Don't just look at the soldiers. Look at the bankers, brokers, and politicians behind them.
And maybe, just maybe, ask why the same people who were catastrophically wrong about Iraq deserve a second chance with Iran.
Unless you enjoy paying for wars that make everyone worse off except the people selling the weapons.
Well i don’t really know… Am i right?
//Peace
But wait, there's more:
The reported $400 million luxury jet from Qatar, allegedly earmarked for the President's personal enjoyment, experienced a brief, almost imperceptible, transit through official U.S. government channels. Because, of course, it's entirely commonplace for a foreign nation to simply bestow a private aircraft upon a sitting U.S. President. Absolutely.

There’s a quiet new arms race going on. Not for nukes. Not for oil. For antimony. What’s that, you ask? Oh, just a boring gray metal that happens to be critical for making armor-piercing bullets, hypersonic weapons, solid-state batteries, and quantum computers. You know, the usual.
