certainly you have heard of the working poor? families working ofter 2+ jobs just trying to keep their families fed, a roof over their heads & bills paid. Medical treatment? Emergency Medical Treatment for one of their children? let alone trying to keep healthy themselves so they can continue the working grind to provide.
ITS NOT HAPPENING.
& this is my point: spiritual war or not, parents want/ need to feed their children. they need to make & keep them healthy.
these are physical material Things.
Spirituality? i'm sure most are on their hands & knees regularly asking if & why they have been forsaken. when the stomach growls & the pangs of hunger hit, what else can one do? paycheck to paycheck, stealing from peter to pay paul, constantly juggling. clothing, shoes for school when just putting food on the table is a struggle? social services have been slashed, healthcare: slashed.
The Black Panther Party showed that community organization and solidarity is a way we can aid each other, conserving energy while sharing resource. There’s a reason the government killed Fred Hampton at 21.
wow. that was a rabbit hole. Southern Poverty Law says The New Black Panther Party (for self defense) is a designated hate group & quotes them as saying some horribly anti-semitic spew (in their own words)
tho official NBPP (New Black Party) are organized, focused on self defense & relief. But. i can't link to much on their website. only the join & contact seem to go anywhere.
Sorry. I was speaking about the original BPP, not the appropriated or offshoot version, as to why I mentioned Fred Hampton in my original comment.
If you like this sort of tangential historicism, you could fall down the rabbit hole of how the civil war era “nativists” were white national Christians who wanted remigration policies to send all “non-whites” to other countries- this would’ve included Jews and Italians at the time. By the 1920s this grew into the America First Committee than then had the offshoot of the America First Party. The committee became the liberal democrats while the party became what today is MAGA. By today’s standards Eisenhower was a communist who would’ve ran with Bernie.
Since it’s Pride Month and almost Juneteenth, I should’ve just said the Rainbow Coalition.
it is no longer a political war, those who have not yet been affected, they will be. republicans, democrats: those classifications don't matter when one is feeling those pangs of hunger & lack of safety.
the government subsidies have been cut way back, obviously if they're going to cut back on the school meals for the poorest & most vulnerable of children, that's a huge cut, it's not just a cut: it's a blow! it's a kick in the head. they're cutting back senior services including meals. also vulnerable, for some just as with the children, it might be the only meal they get that day.
there are way to many humans & entire families, some single mothers, working mothers who are homeless, on the streets, some graced enough to have the safety of a car to live in. going to overflowing shelters, going to community services to get a meal & maybe a sack lunch.
the homeless women i've met who don't have the safety of a car, the spend all night walking, walking to be safe. they can't afford to camp & sleep somewhere even seemingly hidden. it's way to dangerous. so they walk, they go to community services during the day to sleep, sometimes it's on the ground in a parking lot. but they're safer.
Allow me to frame the present crisis from the principle of loving the enemies of good conscience. Neither side loves the other but sees them as enemies of their cause. Both sides are reading this, so let's clear the air.
This is a political/religious war. It is taking place as a spiritual battle in our minds and hearts, but it has partially taken form in our land. The goal should be to keep it a spiritual battle as much as possible. If it all becomes physical, well, the last civil war cost over 600,000 lives. Spiritual battles are free physically, putting societies into greater darkness or greater light.
I am for freedom as defined by freedom from spiritual blindness to make all others more important in our hearts without being against ourselves. When that battle is won in our minds first, it looks like democracy taking care of everyone--including those who are acting like they prefer autocracy--without being against ourselves.
If you have won that battle, you yourself can choose how much you can bear without turning against yourself, all the way to martyrdom. You can decide for yourself when the battle can no longer be kept spiritual, all the way to eye for an eye, life for a life. But if you have not won that battle, you will be drawn away from the spiritual battle before you exhausted every tactic, drawn away by your own anger or fear or by others who have lost that battle and pull you away.
I love both Democrats and Republicans, but I have to say you Republicans have strayed further away, so I am working harder to win you back spiritually. Democrats, you do not love your enemies either but focus on how to keep the freedom to do just that. I am working hard to win you back spiritually too. I am not done fighting spiritually.
spiritual battle in our minds and heart, Yes absolutely by helping those less fortunate than us.
If among you, one of your brothers should become poor, in any of your towns within your land that the Lord your God is giving you, you shall not harden your heart or shut your hand against your poor brother.
For the needy shall not always be forgotten, and the hope of the poor shall not perish forever.
For he delivers the needy when he calls, the poor and him who has no helper.
Whoever oppresses a poor man insults his Maker, but he who is generous to the needy honors him.
Whoever oppresses the poor to increase his own wealth, or gives to the rich, will only come to poverty.
A Grand, Unnecessary Delay: Instead of direct creation, you create an entire universe, which then takes billions of years to develop.
Circuitous Creation of Humanity: You create humanity not instantaneously in your presence, but through a multi-step process: a man from "mud," and then a woman from the man.
Setting Up for Failure: You issue a seemingly simple command knowing it will be disobeyed, and then issue a severe threat (death) that you don't immediately carry out.
A Cycle of Disobedience and Struggle: Instead of immediate consequence, you initiate a long, difficult "comedy of errors" where humanity consistently fails to love, listen to, or obey you.
Repeated Resets and Interventions: You resort to extreme measures like a global flood, followed by linguistic confusion to "restart" or manage humanity, and even encourage conflict.
Progressive Withdrawal: You gradually diminish your direct, detectable interaction with your creations.
An Unconventional Incarnation and Sacrifice: The plan culminates in a convoluted act: a "magical impregnation" leading to a "god-man" (a concept that defies simple logic) who then sacrifices himself to himself, seemingly as a "blood magic loophole" to appease your own "wrath," which is paradoxically labeled as "justice."
Expectation of Blind Faith: Finally, you expect future generations to accept all of this without what's considered "sufficient evidence."
so please help me understand what is new covenant?
I respect atheistic views as well as non-Biblical views. As I have said, it is more important how we treat each other, which, in the eyes of God or Life, determines our future. I know of nothing better than to treat all others as more important than myself without being against myself. That works from the singularity we exist in on this miniscule planet. By loving everyone as part of the singularity, I am not blind to it and can partake of its greater life and love, despite those who are blind to it and thus working against themselves.
My interpretation of the Bible is symbolic or better put, spiritual. The key verse to start with is Psalm 82:6. To paraphrase, it says we existed before this earth but, because of some kind of refusal to accept that we are NOT the Source, we were embodied in earth’s forms–-to carry out our illusion that we are the Source. Left in the ignorance of our own making, we are only allowed to experience consciousness through these crude senses but have a measure of will and intelligence. This is spiritual interpretation, so it has nothing to do with what we know through these senses and all the science we have put together.
Jesus taught this when he said that the flesh profits nothing; it is the spirit that gives life. All of the apparent manipulation over our feeble existence has always been due to our senses being unable to see anything spiritually. You could say we were not ready to listen but instead still wanted to believe that we are the Source, some of us more than others.
But our opportunity changed with the New Covenant, which is solely about the truth provided to empower us to see spiritually with a higher consciousness. That truth teaches us how to see our singularity before our Source, which I call Name (God or Life), and how to love every member of it blind to it or not. For this is the nature of Name, conveyed to us through Word (Christ or Truth).
Some of us are choosing this path, others are not. We are all still part of the singularity before Name. There are two ways we can fight in the spiritual war. One way is with hatred stronger than death. The other way is with love stronger than death. Hatred leads to the abyss of ignorance. Love leads to the light of life.
This might sound fantastical, yet it's the bedrock of my perspective, born from a life-altering experience nineteen years ago. As a former staunch skeptic, I had an out-of-body encounter, a meeting with "God" as a radiant "white light" of pure love, understanding, compassion, and empathy. In that moment, the universe revealed a fundamental truth: love is the operating principle, fear is an illusion, and our interconnectedness is absolute.
This resonated with ancient wisdom, particularly the Gnostic view of a loving ultimate creator, where the perceived harshness of the physical world (the Demiurge) has no dominion over our innate connection to that love. Fear, then, is not an external tyrant but an internal construct, a shadow we cast. This understanding underscores a crucial principle: as inside, so outside. The fears we hold within, our personal "dragons," dictate how we see and engage with the world. Ignoring these inner landscapes only perpetuates their influence, projecting them outward as more shadows and divisions.
Therefore, let's redefine courage: it's not the absence of fear, but the active choice to face it head-on. It's about turning towards our inner darkness, not to succumb, but to understand its foundations and dismantle its power. Just as the brave figures in our childhood stories confronted their dragons, often finding them surprisingly vulnerable, our willingness to engage with our fears diminishes their control. This active engagement is intertwined with doing our best. When we live with integrity, consistently striving for our best, we forge an inner resilience that makes fear less potent. This alignment with our values and a commitment to positive action creates an unshakeable internal anchor.
Just as the love I experienced was unconditional, I believe that deep down, we are all worthy of love and connection, regardless of our fears or perceived flaws. Embracing our "weirdness," as we discussed, and acknowledging the full spectrum of our human experience – the light and the shadow – is part of this journey.
Now, I'm not saying you should or have to believe anything I've shared. Please, just consider it – another perspective in this vast and mysterious universe.
i disagree. this is a class war. have you ever gone without food for days? looking for the nearest organization trying to help the less privileged or less advantaged?
having a home, job, car & basic security these things bring into our daily lives, for whatever reason, for many, these things were just not secure enough.
When the ultimate goal is helping others, the identity of the messenger becomes secondary to the message's impact. What truly matters is whether the message is received and acted upon, leading to tangible aid and positive change. If the fundamental purpose is to alleviate suffering and foster well-being, then focusing on the intricate details or perceived flaws of the messenger can become a distraction. The critical question isn't "Who said it?" but rather, "Did you get the message and start helping?" The true test of any communication, regardless of its origin, lies in its ability to inspire compassion, justice, and actionable support for those in need. So Did you get the message?
The message I follow is to love the enemies of conscience. I fight the spiritual fight with love greater than death. When we do so, it reveals the best path forward in this world. When we do not, our view of the world is distorted and, even with good intentions, we are fighting against ourselves.

So we are saying the same thing. right?
So different messenger but the same message. right?
So do we want to stop arguing about the messenger and just create a better world together?
Do you get the message now?
I just leave out the messenger and obey the message which is the whole point!
Wars have divided us because we got stuck on who the messenger is and somehow missed the message...
I ask you in the most humble way did you get the message?
& to paraphrase: i believe he will not make into the kingdom of heaven
Mr Allen
